By and large, Blacks, Latinos and Asian Americans don’t trust one another. In fact, they view White folks with less suspicion than they do one another, a new poll by a coalition of 700 ethnic media outlets reveals. African Americans believe that Hispanics are taking their jobs, Hispanics and Asians blame Black folks for too much crime, and Blacks and Hispanics say that Asian businessowners are always dissing them.
According to the poll...
-44% of Hispanics and 47 %of Asians are "afraid of African-Americans
because they are responsible for most of the crime," the survey of
1,105 adults drawn from the three ethnic groups showed.
-More than half of black Americans polled and 46% of Hispanics said Asian business owners do not treat them with respect.
-And half of African-Americans said Latin American immigrants "are taking jobs, housing and political power away from the black community."
-All three ethnic groups viewed white Americans in a more favorable light than they did members of another minority.
-61% of Hispanics, 54% of Asians and 47% of African-Americans said they would rather do business with whites than members of the other two groups.
Moral of the story? YT still comes out on top in every possible scenario.
I'll admit that prefer certain races over others: I only want Asians preparing my moo goo gai pan, Hispanics making my arroz con pollo, and African-Americans making my everything else.
