For ReaL?

If I talked about the things I completely obsesses over, I would come damn near close to literally talking off your ears...so I choose not to, but I came across this this weekend and I haven't been right ever since...

While I was compiling the midnight lovin' list you see to your right, I decided to look up one guy it reminded me of. Y'all may not even remember who he is (and if you don't, shame on you!), but he remains one of my boyfriends in my head from my high school days. (I still listen to their first album to this day and you know it's good because you know I don't listen to just anything.) You may have heard me talk about my favorite body part before, so you won't be mad if I start talking about it again....I LOVE a slight gap on a man. It's such a rare sight in nature that I take time to point it out and appreciate it's beauty.

I was completely devastated upon learning that this weekend...and apparently through watching YouTube, I'm about 8 years behind on this news, because by his group's second album in 2000, his shit was tight like the Hoover Dam.

Whyyyyy?!! He worked that gap and it worked for him. In the song, Too Close (LINK 2:50 mark) when he sings the line, "...You know what I wanna do...oh, yessssss..." that "ssss" would not be possible without that fabulous gap his mama blessed him with. The new teeth weren't necessary! He didn't have a picket fence mouth like...oh...

Wait, this fool got his ish fixed too?! What kind of world do we live in when gapped-toothed individuals have to alter themselves to fit in?!

The pool is drying up for people like myself who appreciate natural beauty! This is like when Hammer dropped the 'MC', and when Kid got rid of the hi-top fade, when Queen Latifah stopped wearing those Africa hats!!
