I'm glad the election is over, but for me, it's haaaaaarrrrd to come down from my post-election euphoria. I've been crying on and off for days now and I only know one way to handle it.
I'm applying for a position within the Obama administration.
And if I had any redeemable skills, I'd be excited about my chances.
Ya'll need to go and apply at Change.gov. You never know.
I can really see D.A. being Malia and Sasha's official scalp greaser.
Nevertheless, I'm applying to be the intern to apprentice to the assistant to the head sanitation engineer. Wish me luck!
On the inauguration front: If you've been thinking about it, DO NOT BUY INAUGURATION TICKETS FROM ANYONE! Tickets won't be distributed until a week before the event and they can only be obtained from members of Congress.
Chile, I contacted both my senators, my congressman and another congressman in another district using my sister's information. I also contacted my former Louisiana senators and congressman for backup. I'm gonna be in D.C. in January if it kills somebody!
