I was eight-ish with a Jheri curl and this song was always blaring from one corner or the other on our block. I remember our neighbor Charlene who looked like a understudy for J.J. Fad (I WISH I had pictures to show you), was going through some problems with her boyfriend, Radio (imagine Akon with at big ass flat top) and she played Goodbye Love all the damn time. This song is seared into my mind and gives me good memories of '89-'90 when I think back.
