Did anyone catch the premiere of Tiny & Toya on BET?
I only watched it because I needed to escape the constant MJ coverage because I was starting to be depressed all over again. Turns out, that wasn't too good of an idea.
I didn't hate it. Tiny was endearing talking about her father as I am going through something similar with a parent and Toya was aiight, but my ears need a filter for all that screeching. Toya's New Orleans accent is thick as hell and she's countray as hell to the point where I was squirming a bit. I was like damn..."The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain." Toya, please practice that shit 80 times a day. Ugh.
Final verdict: Didn't love it. Didn't hate it. Will watch if I'm ever morbidly depressed again.
So, apparently on the re-airing of the EBT Awards '09 Eff MJ Over Fest, the powers that be heavily edited Lil Wayne and Drake's, "I'd Like To Fuck Every Hoe In the World" performance with excessive bleeping and --get this-- blurring out the little girls gyrating in the background to the beat.
Really? Really? How about NOT allowing that shit to take place in the beginning? But you know they didn't see anything wrong with that until people started complaining.
Anyway, MS ain't got the time for this foolishness
