Could It Be Your Face I See On My Computer Screen?

Have you ever tried or looked into online matchmaking?

I admit to looking over some of the profiles featured on some of the more popular sites out of sheer curiosity. Some online dating profiles are cheery and some are just sad.

I saw the profile of a guy I went to high school with on Yahoo! Personals. It was SO depressing reading what he had to say. The poor baby was a football star and there he was, looking for his wife online. After reading that, if I were still living in the area I would've thrown him some pity pudenda. I should check on him.

I read the profile of this white guy once and although he seemed long winded, he seemed great on paper. At the end of his profile, he put this long ass explanation of how he can't see himself with any black women and how he didn't want to be contacted by any. It seemed as if he was trying to let the black women reading his profile down easy because he wasn't interested in them. I was thinking of pulling a swicheroo on his ass ala The Crying Game, but instead of being a tranny, I would be a racey and pull off my white girl mask so he could run home screaming into the night.

Does anyone believe that those E-Harmony.com commercials are real? Couples meet and instantly fall in love because they're sooo compatible. Fukouttahere.

I wonder how many couples are divorced now. I'm guessing they don't boast about that.

I wanted to see what the free E-Harmony compatibility profile was all about and the damn thing was like filling out a government form. Are people looking for a date or applying for WIC benefits?

Anyways...

Has anybody ever tried online dating? Don't be shy.

I don't think online dating is anything to be ashamed of, but if you hooked up with someone through Myspace, I may have to clown your ass.
