Is he lying about having a daughter?


I met this guy recently and he said he doesn't have any kids. But there are somethings that keep coming up that have me thinking otherwise:

- he tells me he has no kids, but a Goddaughter that "he loves dearly and will drop everything for"

- He said his last relationship didn't work out because the girlfriend has issues with the Goddaughter's mother, who by the way was his "ex-roommate"

- he said he takes the Goddaughter on a trip every year and the mother comes along.

I asked, "does she come along when you're dating someone?" He says "Well, the last girl wasn't comfortable with her coming along since they didn''t get along". I said, "Well if this is your Goddaughter, then the mother should feel comfortable enough with you taking her alone, right? Not with your significant other". He didn't really answer that.

- Around Christmas when I called, he was always at Target "getting more gifts for my Goddaughter.."

- then.....................his phone rang while we were out. When he gets off he says "that was my dau..., I mean Goddaughter" Yeah right....


What does it sound like to ya'll?
